About the role#
GE Vernova is seeking an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This program provides students with hands-on experience in the power generation industry, focusing on advanced reactor technology, fuel, and services. Interns will work on technically challenging assignments while receiving mentorship from experienced technical managers and technologists.
What you'll do#
- Receive technical learning opportunities and mentorship.
- Perform design and analysis of product lines.
- Develop models and solve technical problems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external organizations.
- Gain exposure to engineering concepts in real-world situations, including systems, reliability, digital, and integration and test.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline, specifically: Nursing, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- A demonstrated desire to advance nuclear power generation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
