About the role#
WorkWell NYC is looking for a Program Evaluation Fellow to support the monitoring and evaluation of wellness initiatives for City of New York employees. You will help track program outcomes and research effective wellness strategies. This role requires a commitment of 20 to 25 hours per week. The fellowship is expected to last for at least one year or through June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of workplace programs like physical activity challenges, vaccination clinics, and chronic disease prevention.
- Compile, enter, and summarize program data.
- Create and present reports on both ongoing and completed programs.
- Research innovative approaches to workplace wellness.
- Attend staff and team meetings.
- Assist with other program tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Strong skills in data entry and management using Microsoft Excel and Airtable.
- Coursework in program evaluation, statistics, and epidemiology.
- Experience with researching and developing systematic reviews.
- Prior experience with program monitoring, the City of New York, or health promotion programs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and participate in external agency health forums.
- Proficiency in statistical software like Stata, R, or SPSS is a plus.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

- Modality: Hybrid with some on-site work and travel within NYC boroughs.
- Compensation: $22 to $24 per hour.
- Schedule: 20 to 25 hours per week.
