About the role#
Fried Frank is seeking a Paralegal Intern for the Fall 2026 term to support our derivatives and structured products practice. This role provides exposure to securities law, tax law, equity derivative sales, securities trading, and asset management. Interns will work closely with attorneys and paralegals to support our financial institution clients.
What you'll do#
- Draft closing documents by incorporating economic terms.
- Compile and consolidate legal documents by summarizing transactional history.
- Assist in the filing of deals with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
- Maintain detailed records of client deal history and update data systems to track daily deal launches.
- Utilize firm document management systems and databases to organize privileged information and various document forms.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at a four-year college or university, preferably in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain high attention to detail.
- Capacity to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Location: New York, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week, with at least one day in the office preferred.
- Status: Paid internship.
