About the role#
Fresh Products, LLC is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our Finance and Accounting team in Perrysburg, Ohio. This role offers the chance to apply classroom knowledge to real-world financial tasks. You will report directly to a Financial Analyst and focus primarily on accounts receivable collections, while gaining exposure to other accounting functions.
What you'll do#
- Enter customer payments and research account balances.
- Pull support documentation for accounts receivable deductions.
- Assist with issuing proof-of-delivery (POD) credits.
- Prepare rebate files and customer promotion support.
- Help with month-end close by making journal entries and preparing financial reports.
- Assist with the creation of ad hoc and internal reports.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- A focus on accuracy, integrity, and customer service.
