About the role#
The FOX News Media Internship Program provides students with practical experience at a major media company. You will work on real-world projects, build leadership skills, and gain exposure to the operations of a news organization. Placements may include the FOX News Channel Chicago Bureau.
What you'll do#
- Participate in projects that provide hands-on work experience.
- Build leadership skills through day-to-day tasks.
- Attend professional development sessions, including master classes and networking events.
- Collaborate with team members in a deadline-driven environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Sophomore standing or higher with a strong academic record.
- Ability to work 16 to 24 hours per week for the duration of the program.
- Knowledge of current events, business news, and the media industry.
- Familiarity with FOX programming and talent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, self-starter attitude.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems for your area of placement, such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, or iNews.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Winter 2027 (February 8, 2027 to April 16, 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship at $20.00 per hour.
- Requirements: You must provide your own housing and transportation to the work site.
