About the role#
Four Hands is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join the team for the Fall 2026 term. This part-time, on-site internship provides hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment, working alongside experienced staff to support financial operations and reporting.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on exposure to the full sales and use tax lifecycle using Avalara.
- Manage customer credit applications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
- Assist in responding to customer requests by gathering and providing required documentation.
- Support invoice processing, research discrepancies, and help troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure compliance within the procurement system by reviewing processes and documentation.
- Review cost center expenses to identify trends and ensure accuracy.
- Prepare account reconciliations using Blackline for review.
- Participate in the month-end close process to gain insight into financial reporting cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help build efficient, scalable processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an accounting degree.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Exposure to Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.

- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Schedule: Part-time (20 to 25 hours per week).
