Merchandising Intern

About the role#

As a Merchandising Intern, you will work directly with the Merchant team to support product analysis, reporting, and market research. This role provides hands-on experience with cross-functional projects, helping you develop a practical understanding of merchandising strategy and the furniture industry.

What you'll do#

• Assist the Merchant team with audits on new and existing product information, including costing, pricing, dimensions, and fabric details.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and presentations for internal and external deliverables.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams focused on process improvements across Merchandising, Product Development, and Buying & Planning.
• Research and analyze competitor assortments and pricing strategies.
• Support the analysis of current and future trends in the furniture industry to help inform product strategy.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret data.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
• Modality: On-site.
• Commitment: Part-time (20 to 25 hours per week).
• Status: Paid internship.
