Visual Merchandising Intern

About the role#

The Visual Merchandising Intern will support the styling and coordination of industry trade showrooms. This role provides hands-on experience in design, styling, and market preparation by working directly with the visual merchandising and production teams.

What you'll do#

• Support the styling and arrangement of products in showroom displays.
• Assist with pre-market coordination efforts to ensure logistics and styling details meet brand standards.
• Organize, clean, and maintain props and showroom spaces to keep them presentation-ready.
• Support vendor relationships, including the coordination of deliveries and pick-ups.
• Prepare soft goods, such as textiles and linens, for display through steaming or ironing.
• Source styling materials, food props, and design tools as needed.
• Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to learn how products are selected for cohesive showroom designs.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Architecture, Graphic Design, Art, Media Studies, or Human Resources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

• Location: Austin, Texas.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Part-time (20 to 25 hours per week).
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
