Print Production Intern

About the role#

As a Print Production Intern on the Sales Enablement Team, you will support showroom and print production initiatives. This role focuses on printer maintenance, SLA and SLS print production, and managing print farm logistics to ensure a safe and productive environment for 3D printed solutions.

What you'll do#

• Support design modifications, part layout, and slicing for 3D print optimization.
• Manage 3D print production, including printing, troubleshooting, and maintenance across SLA and SLS printers and all Formlabs materials.
• Post-process, sand, and finish parts.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the showroom and production spaces.
• Identify and implement opportunities for space improvements to optimize production, quality control, and maintenance.

What you'll need#

• Experience with 3D printing.
• Strong organizational skills and an interest in streamlining processes.
• Ability to lift 40-80 lbs.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Project management skills.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Graphic Design, or Architecture.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site in Somerville, Massachusetts.
• Term: Fall 2026 (September 14 – December 18).
• Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
• Compensation: $1,000–$1,300 per week, paid bi-weekly.
