About the role#
The Marketing Intern supports the Forest Home team by creating content and managing brand assets. You will help tell the story of our programs and retreats while growing your professional skills in a remote environment. This role focuses on social media, email marketing, and visual design to help us connect with our community.
What you'll do#
- Create branded social graphics, flyers, presentations, and email assets while maintaining our visual identity.
- Assist with planning the organic content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Write and edit social captions, email copy, and promotional messaging.
- Work with the photo and video team to develop shot lists and organize creative assets.
- Design and build emails using HubSpot.
- Use performance insights to help inform future creative work.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Previous experience through coursework, volunteering, or internships in marketing or design.
- A portfolio or examples of your creative work.
- Strong visual design sense and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- A signed statement of faith and a willingness to participate in staff spiritual activities, including praying for others.
- Proficiency in or a desire to learn platforms like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and HubSpot.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, paid position based in California.
- You will work approximately 20 hours per week.
