About the role#
Flighthouse Media is looking for a Music Marketing Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This role focuses on building and managing artist-focused fanpages across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. You will help grow these communities by creating and publishing content that highlights music artists and drives fan discovery. This is a part-time, unpaid internship for students receiving college credit.
What you'll do#
- Manage and grow artist-focused and genre-focused fanpages on social media.
- Create and publish short-form content, including lyric visuals, concert clips, and edits.
- Identify emerging trends and find ways to integrate artist music into viral formats.
- Write hooks and captions designed to increase social media engagement.
- Maintain consistent posting schedules across multiple accounts.
- Track performance metrics like views, engagement rates, and follower growth.
What you'll need#
- Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
- A genuine interest in music culture, artist fandoms, and viral internet trends.
- Basic experience with short-form video editing.
- Knowledge of social media algorithms and how they affect engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple social accounts and keep up with a regular posting schedule.
- Preferred majors include Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or Psychology.
