About the role#
Five Rings offers an intensive 9-week summer internship program for Quantitative Traders. This full-time, paid position runs from early June through early August and provides mentorship from full-time traders. Students outside of the U.S. are eligible to apply.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with the trading team on research and development projects.
- Participate in hands-on projects and mock trading.
- Engage in classroom instruction and in-house strategy games.
- Attend talks introducing key trading concepts.
- Join team activities including game nights and dinners.
What you'll need#
- Expected graduation in winter 2027 or spring/summer 2028.
- Academic background in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or Statistics.
- Quantitatively-focused mindset.
- Detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work as a self-starter and quick learner.
