About the role#
This 9-week summer internship program provides an intensive introduction to proprietary trading. Interns are paired with a dedicated mentor and integrated into the research team to work on real-world development projects. The program balances hands-on technical work with classroom instruction, strategic game sessions, and team-building activities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the research team on active development projects.
- Attend a series of talks covering key trading concepts.
- Engage in both classroom instruction and hands-on project work.
- Test ideas independently while contributing to broader team goals.
- Participate in strategic game nights and firm activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program for computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- Exceptional mathematical and quantitative abilities.
- A proven track record of success within your field of specialty.
- Basic programming experience gained through academic work or previous internships.
- A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
