About the role#
Fishbeck is hiring a Survey Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Indiana. You will work with our surveying team to support water and wastewater projects across our regional offices. This role offers a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Assist with engineering evaluations and the design of water and wastewater systems.
- Analyze project data and help write technical reports.
- Work alongside engineers and survey professionals across multiple locations.
- Attend site visits and client meetings to see project conditions in person.
- Learn basic design concepts and perform technical calculations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Survey Engineering, Survey Technology, or Civil Engineering program.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Micro Station.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to communicate clearly, follow directions, and work independently.
- Availability for occasional travel, long hours, and weekend work if required.
- GPS knowledge is a plus.
