About the role#
As an intern at Finastra, you will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our global business objectives. This summer 2027 internship provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional setting while developing technical, analytical, and business skills. You will contribute to meaningful work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain exposure to the financial technology industry.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives within your assigned function.
- Assist with research, analysis, reporting, and project-related tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on business priorities.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to innovative solutions.
- Gather, organize, and present data to support decision-making.
- Develop presentations, documentation, and other materials for internal use.
- Attend team meetings, workshops, and learning sessions.
- Support testing, validation, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Participate in Agile and team collaboration activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Previous internship, project, academic, or extracurricular experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or relevant business technologies.
- Understanding of financial services, banking, software, SaaS, or fintech industries.
- Experience with Agile methodologies or project management concepts is a plus.
