About the role#
The Team Lead for the Professional Services Internship Program manages the daily operations, development, and leadership of a growing team of interns. This position focuses on balancing intern mentorship with the operational needs of the business. You will oversee project assignments within the Finalsite Composer CMS, develop scalable workflows, and partner with internal teams to expand the program's reach. This is a full-time, remote position.
What you'll do#
- Provide daily leadership, coaching, and performance management for the internship team.
- Manage intern schedules, priorities, and project assignments.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training to build proficiency in Finalsite Composer.
- Set clear expectations and provide feedback on quality, productivity, and professional development.
- Identify individual strengths and help prepare high-performing interns for future opportunities.
- Coordinate incoming work requests from Professional Services teams.
- Match projects to intern skills and monitor progress to address blockers.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes for all team deliverables.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for project issues.
- Develop scalable workflows and identify opportunities to use AI and automation for efficiency.
- Track program performance and communicate outcomes to leadership.
- Partner with HR to support intern recruitment and program administration.
What you'll need#
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in web services, project management, team leadership, or training.
- Working knowledge of Finalsite Composer or similar content management systems.
- Experience completing or overseeing website content work.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop others.
- Strong project and workload management skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality standards.
- Comfort adopting emerging technologies and AI-powered tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Slack, and Zoom.
- Experience in Professional Services, web services, or education technology is preferred.
