About the role#
This is a 10-week paid summer internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in sales, customer relationship management, and branch operations. You will work within a local branch to learn how customer partnerships are built and maintained. The program includes a one-week immersive experience at the company headquarters in Newport News, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Build skills in customer service, product knowledge, and the sales process.
- Work alongside experienced sales, operations, and branch leaders.
- Gain exposure to warehouse, counter, inside sales, and outside sales functions.
- Participate in leadership and sales development sessions.
- Complete a sales-focused project to solve a business challenge and present your findings to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or Psychology.
- Status as a rising junior or senior.
- Availability to work 10 consecutive weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A motivated and curious mindset with a willingness to learn.
