About the role#
The Business Development Intern is a temporary, 3-month role for college students interested in a career in sales. You will support our sales team through hands-on research, lead generation, and marketing projects. This position offers exposure to daily business development practices and collaboration with internal teams.
What you'll do#
- Identify potential customers using prospecting databases, social media, and networking tools.
- Create and distribute marketing content that introduces our products and services.
- Coordinate and schedule introductory meetings with prospective customers.
- Join sales team sessions to learn about customer needs and sales strategies.
- Research competitors and industry trends.
- Prepare materials and presentations for customers.
- Provide administrative support, including tracking activities and updating reports.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- A strong interest in sales and business development.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, professional attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Previous internship or part-time work experience is helpful but not required.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- Positions are available in Roanoke, VA; Sanford, FL; Greenwood, IN; Brooklyn Park, MN; and Houston, TX.
