About the role#
The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a Cybersecurity student for a full-time summer internship within Treasury Services. This role provides practical experience in application security through real-world projects and mentorship from experienced team members.
What you'll do#
- Enter vulnerability tickets for application security concerns.
- Monitor applications daily to identify potential security issues.
- Perform security testing and learn the underlying processes.
- Participate in development SCRUM meetings to collaborate with teams.
- Shadow experienced staff to understand the team's operations.
- Engage in career development and leadership activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Cybersecurity.
- At least one semester of school remaining following the internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Access.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a group.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship.
