About the role#
This application bank is for students and recent graduates interested in finance, accounting, risk management, and related business fields for the Winter 2027 term. We offer internships and work-study placements designed to help you build fundamental career skills within a financial Crown corporation. While positions are typically four months, we prefer candidates available for eight months or longer. Roles are full-time, though part-time flexibility exists.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with a diverse and experienced team.
- Support financial operations and risk management functions.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Engage in coaching and mentoring programs to develop your professional skills.
- Execute tasks ranging from simple to complex.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last year) from a program in finance, accounting, risk management, business, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical skills, a sense of initiative, and the ability to work independently within a team.
- Prior work experience related to your field of study.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to meet government security screening requirements.
Location & details#
- Locations: Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, and Halifax.
- Modality: Hybrid, with expectations to work from the office three days per week.
- Compensation: Salaries range from $42,900 to $56,550 annually, depending on your year of study or graduation status.
