Supply Chain & Manufacturing Intern — Facilities & EHS

About the role#

As a Supply Chain & Manufacturing Intern focused on Facilities & EHS, you will play a hands-on role in establishing factory and site infrastructure. This position involves working directly with the Supply Chain & Manufacturing team to manage site build-outs, factory layout planning, and the implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs. This is an active, on-site role that requires time spent in CAD, on the factory floor, and in the field.

What you'll do#

• Facilitate site build-out and factory layout planning by developing and iterating on layouts in CAD.
• Support hands-on fabrication and assembly work, including welding, wiring, controls, and mechanical assembly.
• Work with metal, glass, and ceramic fabrication methods and equipment as manufacturing processes are developed.
• Support EHS program implementation by applying OSHA regulations and partnering with third-party groups on audits, training, and compliance.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Exposure to or strong interest in metal, glass, and ceramic fabrication methods and equipment.
• Familiarity with EHS and OSHA regulations.
• Comfort working in an active factory and construction environment.
• A hands-on mindset and eagerness to learn technical assembly skills.
