Supply Chain & Manufacturing Intern - Contract Manufacturing Vendor

About the role#

As a Supply Chain & Manufacturing Intern, you will work directly with the Supply Chain & Manufacturing team to develop and manage the external partners responsible for building components for Exowatt's P3 modules. This role offers direct exposure to supplier negotiations, manufacturing process development, and the fabrication methods required to scale production.

What you'll do#

• Support supplier negotiations through quoting, cost analysis, and vendor evaluation.
• Contribute to process and assembly development for P3 modules by working with vendors to translate designs into repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes.
• Assess vendor capabilities and support quality and process improvements.
• Work with metal, glass, and ceramic fabrication methods and equipment.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in supplier management and negotiation, supported by analytical and communication skills.
• Exposure to or interest in manufacturing process and assembly development.
• Familiarity with metal, glass, and ceramic fabrication methods and equipment through coursework, projects, or hands-on experience.
• Ability to work across the factory floor and vendor sites.
