About the role#
Exos is offering a 12-16 week internship program at our Performance Center in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring at least 20 hours per week. You will work in a strength and conditioning environment, training both individuals and groups while gaining experience in human performance.
What you'll do#
- Learn from human performance professionals to refine your coaching skills.
- Shadow, observe, and participate in programming for athletes ranging from youth to professional levels.
- Attend weekly educational sessions, including lectures, presentations, and practicums.
- Receive practical training on linear and multi-directional movement skills, program design, and applications.
- Complete self-paced learning modules.
- Engage with the NFL Combine preparation program.
- Gain exposure to performance nutrition, physical therapy, and sport science for client evaluations.
- Have the opportunity to earn the Exos Performance Specialist Certification.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program specializing in kinesiology, exercise physiology, exercise science, or sport science.
- Ability to receive course credit for this internship.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Interest in working with active and athletic populations.

- This is an unpaid internship.
- Interns are responsible for securing and funding their own housing, travel, food, and transportation.
