About the role#
This 12-16 week internship provides an intensive learning experience within the Exos Performance Center. Interns gain exposure to the Exos methodology, focusing on how to evaluate athletes, assess fundamental needs based on goals and activity levels, and apply an integrated approach to athlete care. This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and support Performance Nutrition Specialists during daily operations.
- Develop individual daily nutrition plans, including pre-, during-, and post-workout prescriptions.
- Implement individualized recovery strategies and hydration protocols for athletes.
- Assist with food service management, educational presentations, and operational tasks.
- Participate in weekly small group sessions and complete self-paced learning modules to master the Exos methodology.
What you'll need#
- Must be fulfilling a curriculum or graduation requirement in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Ideally a 4th-year student in a nutrition-related program.
- A strong desire to work with active and athletic populations.
- Prior experience in sports nutrition is preferred.

- Location: Plano, Texas (On-site).

- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
- Note: Interns are responsible for securing and funding their own housing, travel, relocation, food, and transportation costs. Confirmation of course credit through a school advisor is required.
