Corporate Wellness Intern - Fall 2026

About the role#

Exos is offering a 12-16 week learning-intensive internship program for the Fall 2026 term. This role is based on-site at a corporate client location in San Antonio, Texas, and requires a minimum of 20 hours per week. Interns will gain experience in a corporate wellness environment, coaching individuals and groups of varying fitness levels while developing a deep understanding of the Exos Methodology through lectures, practical training, and self-paced modules.

What you'll do#

• Learn from human performance professionals to refine coaching skills.
• Conduct fitness tests and evaluations.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of health promotion and incentive programs.
• Provide safe and effective exercise programs and group exercise sessions.
• Gain exposure to high-risk member management, injury prevention, and on-site rehabilitation.
• Participate in weekly educational sessions and practical training on movement skills and program design.
• Gain the opportunity to earn the Exos Fitness Specialist Certification (XFS).

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, or a related field.
• Enrollment in a program that provides course credit for the internship experience.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• A passion for working with active and athletic populations.
