Corporate Wellness Intern

About the role#

Exos is offering a 12-16 week learning-intensive internship for the Fall 2026 term. This role is based on-site in South San Francisco, CA, and requires a minimum of 20 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship designed for students to gain professional experience in a corporate wellness environment while earning course credit.

What you'll do#

• Learn from human performance professionals to develop and refine coaching skills.
• Conduct fitness tests and evaluations for corporate clients.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of health promotion and incentive programs.
• Provide safe and effective exercise programs and group exercise sessions.
• Gain exposure to high-risk member management, injury prevention, and on-site rehabilitation.
• Develop an understanding of the Exos Methodology through weekly educational sessions, practical training, and self-paced modules.
• Have the opportunity to earn the Exos Fitness Specialist Certification (XFS).

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, or a related field.
• Ability to receive course credit for this internship experience.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• A passion for working with active and athletic populations.
