Project Intern

About the role#

Everus is seeking a Project Intern for a Summer 2026 electrical construction project in Dayton, Ohio. This full-time, paid position supports the project team, including the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent. The role involves exposure to electrical system design, cost estimating, planning, scheduling, materials procurement, cost control, and quality management.

What you'll do#

• Assist with drawing and document coordination, including organizing project files and distributing documents to relevant parties.
• Prepare submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, bid proposals, and other project documentation.
• Develop and maintain project matrices for document control, including tracking RFIs, drawings, and change orders using Microsoft Excel.
• Develop drawings for the installation of electrical components.
• Interface with architects, trade contractors, vendors, and management teams.
• Operate a vehicle as required for business needs.

What you'll need#

• Completion of at least two years toward a B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering at an accredited college or university.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check, credit check, MVR, and drug screen.
