Accounting Intern - Summer 2026

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience within the Everus Construction Group Accounting department. Interns work alongside experienced professionals to gain exposure to financial statements, journal entries, and corporate accounting procedures. You will be expected to understand and uphold the company's 4EVER Strategy, which focuses on employees, value, execution, and relationships.

What you'll do#

• Assist with basic journal entries and financial statements.
• Support the team in corporate accounting functions.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate on solutions.
• Learn and apply relevant industry tools, software, and methodologies.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interest in accounting within a corporate environment.
• Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen if required.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site in Bismarck, North Dakota.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Start Date: May 18, 2026.
• Compensation: $21 per hour.
