Internal Audit Intern - Summer 2026

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience within the Internal Audit function at Everus. You will work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to real-world projects and gain exposure to corporate financial reporting. This role requires an understanding of the company's 4EVER strategy, which focuses on Employees, Value, Execution, and Relationships.

What you'll do#

• Assist with audits and tax reviews.
• Support the team with financial reporting tasks.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate on project solutions.
• Learn and apply relevant industry tools, software, and methodologies.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Strong interest in finance and internal audit within a corporate environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world projects.
• Relevant coursework or extracurricular experience.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site in Bismarck, North Dakota.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Start Date: May 18, 2026.
• Compensation: $21 per hour.
• Employment Status: Full-time, paid internship.
• Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. A background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen may be required.
