Accounting Intern - Summer 2026

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience within the Accounting department at Everus. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects, gaining exposure to corporate accounting procedures, financial statements, and journal entries. This is a paid, full-time summer position.

What you'll do#

• Assist with basic journal entry and financial statements.
• Support the team in corporate accounting functions.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate on solutions.
• Learn and apply relevant industry tools, software, and methodologies.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate college or university program in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong interest in accounting within the corporate environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to projects.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Location & details#

• Location: On-site in Bismarck, North Dakota.
• Term: Summer 2026 (June 1, 2026, to August 14, 2026).
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Compensation: $21 per hour.
• Note: Background check, MVR, and drug screen may be required. Relocation and transportation assistance are not provided.
