About the role#
Join the Networks Domain Product Sales Support team in Plano, Texas. You will work alongside sales engineers to translate customer requirements into cellular and radio access network (RAN) solutions. This internship provides exposure to technical solution development, proposal support, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product management teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the creation of RFx responses, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Map customer requirements to Ericsson cellular and RAN products.
- Research network architectures, industry standards, and market trends.
- Assist in developing bills of materials, solution configurations, and network design inputs.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering stakeholders.
- Participate in discussions regarding network coverage, capacity, and performance metrics.
- Document technical decisions, findings, and action items.
- Support customer trials, demonstrations, and solution readiness activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in engineering, computer science, telecommunications, or information technology.
- A GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Interest in wireless networks, RAN, and cellular communications.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Curiosity about AI and openness to using AI-assisted tools.
- Capacity to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and ask questions.
