About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship program based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. You will work with the production engineering team to gain hands-on experience in both office and field environments. The program involves rotating through various phases of production operations, including construction, pipeline installation, flowback, workover, ARO, and production operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete daily engagements with team members and weekly check-ins with your assigned mentor.
- Meet program milestones and targets throughout your rotation.
- Review API and ASME documentation and standards alongside subject matter experts.
- Develop and host a cross-training event for engineering and operations teams.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation at the end of your rotation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering.
- At least one year of collegiate experience.
- A valid driver’s license.
- A basic understanding of oil and gas production operations, specifically the process flow from well bore to sales point.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- An extreme ownership mentality and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Preference is given to candidates with two years of schooling, prior oil and gas internships, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and an interest in data science.
