About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within the aviation industry at our Los Angeles International Airport office. You will focus on administrative process improvement, helping our team streamline daily operations through automation and data analysis. This is a paid, 11-week summer program for students looking to gain practical experience in a corporate environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze current administrative and workforce workflows to find opportunities for improvement.
- Build and test automated solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Gather requirements to propose and implement process optimization strategies.
- Create dashboards and reports to support data-driven decisions.
- Document process changes, workflows, and automation standards.
- Train team members on new tools and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student in Business Administration, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, dynamic formulas, and macros.
- Experience or familiarity with Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, and AI tools for reporting or analysis.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms.
- Integrity, flexibility, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be located in the Greater Los Angeles metroplex.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
