About the role#
This Sustainability Co-Op position is based in Billerica, Massachusetts. You will join our team for a six-month assignment during the Winter 2027 term. This role focuses on researching, identifying, and implementing projects that support our sustainability goals while working across our various manufacturing sites.
What you'll do#
- Learn about Entegris and our manufacturing processes.
- Work with teammates to identify problem statements and implement solutions.
- Assist with the carbon footprint analysis of our products.
- Help conduct customer surveys regarding sustainability.
- Review energy and sustainability data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Support additional sustainability projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student with at least one year of undergraduate experience.
- Progress toward a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related science or engineering field.
- A passion for sustainability and an enterprising mindset.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software systems.
- A proactive approach to developing new skills outside of your comfort zone.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
Location & details#
- Location: Billerica, Massachusetts.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8a-5p.
- Duration: January through June 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
