About the role#
Entegris is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Co-Op for the Winter 2027 season at our Rockrimmon site in Colorado Springs. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment. You will support site EHS programs, assist with regulatory compliance, and work with teams to maintain a safe manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Support and strengthen site EHS programs.
- Assist with regulatory inspections and audits.
- Participate in incident investigations and help identify root causes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the development and communication of EHS policies and safety information.
- Assist with new hire training and proactive engagement activities.
- Manage data and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of EHS principles gained through coursework, projects, or prior work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
Location & details#
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Rockrimmon site).
- Modality: 100% on-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8a-5p).
