About the role#
ENGIE is seeking an intern for the Solar Design team to support utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in San Francisco for Summer 2026. Please note that sponsorship is not provided for this position.
What you'll do#
- Assist in designing utility-scale solar systems.
- Conduct site assessments for potential project locations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on project workflows.
- Prepare project documentation and reports.
- Support the development of system specifications.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Experience with solar energy systems.
- Familiarity with design software.
- Understanding of core engineering principles.
- Ability to work on large-scale projects.
- Strong analytical skills.
