About the role#
This internship focuses on the design of battery energy storage systems within the utility scale renewable energy sector. You will work on-site in Broomfield, Colorado, during the Summer 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of battery energy storage systems.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations.
- Support project management tasks.
- Prepare technical documentation.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Understanding of utility scale renewable energy design.
- Proficiency in engineering design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
