About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in construction project management. You will work alongside experienced project managers to learn how we deliver heavy civil projects from start to finish. This is a full-time position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and quality control tasks on active construction sites.
- Help create and maintain project budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Help identify project risks and support the team in carrying out mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams and crew members to keep daily tasks moving efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a technical school, college, or university program in Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality and reliability.
