    About the role#

    The Test Engineering team designs, assembles, and validates solutions used in manufacturing facilities to test NI products. As an intern, you will work alongside Test Engineers to assist with the design of these automated test systems. This is a full-time, paid, rolling internship based on-site.

    What you'll do#

    • Design or revise custom printed circuit boards for use in test fixtures.
    • Develop production test code for the next generation of NI products.
    • Qualify instruments for use in test applications deployed to manufacturing.
    • Analyze production test data to identify trends related to product or test solution health.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
    • Experience with high-level programming languages such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python.
    • Knowledge of analog signal considerations, sources of measurement error, and instrumentation selection.
    • Skills in statistical data analysis and hardware-software integration.
    • Hands-on experience with electronic hardware.
    • Experience with high-frequency circuit design, RF, and wireless communication is preferred.
