About the role#
As a Social Media Content Manager Intern, you will help build an online presence for our outpatient mental health clinic in Wexford, Pennsylvania. You will work directly with the clinic owner to drive brand awareness, support our therapists, and connect with local referral partners. This role is unpaid and focuses on gaining hands-on marketing experience.
What you'll do#
- Build a multi-month social media content calendar.
- Create content using thoughtful wording and visuals.
- Schedule posts using the Soci platform.
- Engage with users in a way that reflects our brand voice and values.
- Create periodic reports to track engagement.
- Assist with other online marketing channels, such as newsletters.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- A portfolio demonstrating your experience with social media accounts.
- Ability to work autonomously and identify new opportunities.
- A passion for therapy and mental health awareness.
- Strong copywriting, design, and photo or video skills.
- Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to moderate community conversations.
Location & details#
- Location: This is primarily a remote position, though you are welcome to work from our Wexford, Pennsylvania clinic. Occasional visits to the office may be required for content creation.
- Commitment: This is a full-time, unpaid internship with a flexible schedule of approximately 5 to 15 hours per week.
- Term: Rolling start and end dates with an estimated duration of 2 to 3 months.
