About the role#
We are hiring a Registered Mental Health Therapist Intern to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens. You will provide individual, family, couples, or group therapy. This role emphasizes autonomy and clinical collaboration while we handle the administrative tasks like scheduling, billing, and credentialing.
What you'll do#
- Conduct mental health assessments and build treatment plans.
- Provide clinical interventions to help clients manage symptoms and improve daily functioning.
- Maintain a minimum caseload and complete all clinical documentation according to company policy.
- Collaborate with case managers, families, medical staff, and colleagues to deliver care.
- Apply evidence-based approaches to help clients reach their therapeutic goals.
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions.
- Communicate effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Follow ethical standards and company regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Active Registered Intern license in Florida.
- Current NPI number.
- Valid Florida driver's license and insurability under company policy.
- Strong skills in diagnosis, clinical practice, and crisis intervention.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time well.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred.
- Familiarity with community resources and insurance billing is a plus.
