About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern at Elanco, you will explore various areas of the business including global logistics, supply chain strategy, life cycle management, and manufacturing. This project-based role provides hands-on experience by focusing on business-critical needs during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete tasks, projects, and deliverables as assigned by your supervisor with a focus on detail.
- Build professional relationships with colleagues, fellow interns, and other employees.
- Maintain clear communication with leadership through regular check-ins and progress reports.
- Develop your understanding of the animal health industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or master's program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or an MBA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Prior internship or professional experience in a life-science industry is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Clinton, Indiana.
- The program runs from May 17, 2027, to August 6, 2027.
- Expect approximately 10% travel to the corporate facility in Indianapolis for program events.
- Housing support is available for this position.
