About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in retail banking. You will perform routine teller duties, assist customers with their financial needs, and learn how to identify opportunities to refer clients to the platform team.
What you'll do#
- Process deposits to customer accounts, including verifying cash and endorsements.
- Cash checks for customers and non-customers.
- Record the sale of monetary instruments like official bank checks.
- Handle foreign currency purchases and sales.
- Redeem savings bonds and process loan payments or credit card cash advances.
- File government-mandated reports for large cash transactions.
- Assist customers with access to the safe deposit area.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a high school student or entering your sophomore or junior year of college.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Sociology, or Criminal Justice are preferred.
- You have an outgoing personality and strong customer service skills.
- You are a self-starter who is technically literate.
- You can stand for up to five hours at a time.

- Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid position.
- The hiring rate is $20.25 per hour.
