About the role#
This is a full-time, paid HR Intern position at Dürr. The role is based on-site in Southfield, Michigan, and follows a rolling term structure.
What you'll do#
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases while ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events.
- Prepare HR-related reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Help coordinate training and development programs.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries and direct questions to appropriate HR team members.
- Support benefits administration and HR compliance activities.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and document management.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or recent completion of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous internship or work experience in an office environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR systems or applicant tracking systems is preferred.
