    About the role#

    This internship offers exposure to various human resources and labor relations functions at John Deere. You will work on projects across departments including Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, Compensation and Benefits, HR Operations, and Labor Relations. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Moline, Illinois.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze data, identify root causes, and recommend solutions for HR or labor relations business issues.
    • Partner with HR or Labor Relations managers to understand business operations from both strategic and tactical perspectives.
    • Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives.
    • Complete a department-specific project to present to the leadership team at the end of your internship.
    • Assist with compliance and training efforts.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Human Resources, Labor or Industrial Relations, Labor and Employment Law, Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft systems, including Outlook and Excel.
    • Ability to work as a collaborative team member with strong initiative and interpersonal skills.
    • A self-starter mindset that is results-oriented, resourceful, analytical, and curious.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
