Student Equipment Assistant, Football (Hire Only)

About the role#

The Student Equipment Assistant supports the varsity football program by managing the issuance, maintenance, and upkeep of athletic apparel and equipment. This is a part-time, on-site role that requires availability for weekend, evening, and holiday hours. Relevant majors include Kinesiology, Business Administration, Communications, and Psychology.

What you'll do#

• Provide laundry services for the athletics department.
• Distribute clean laundry to student athletes, staff, and coaches.
• Inventory athletic apparel and equipment and ensure distribution to the proper departments.
• Assist with the setup for athletic competitions and practice.
• Provide after-hour support for events and daily assignments.

What you'll need#

• Previous student worker experience within collegiate athletics, preferably in an equipment-related capacity.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail.
