Duke University is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to serve as an Operations Lead within Student Information Services and Systems (SISS). This role provides operational and strategic leadership for the university's student information ecosystem, specifically focusing on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. You will act as an embedded support resource, partnering with Financial Aid and Student Financials to align system operations with institutional priorities.
What you'll do#
- Provide operational and strategic leadership for assigned student information systems, guiding vision, prioritization, and planning.
- Lead cross-functional and cross-school initiatives, managing project planning, execution, testing coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Serve as the dedicated support resource for Financial Aid and Student Financials.
- Advise schools and central offices on system usage, process redesign, and workflow improvements.
- Ensure system configurations and data structures support federal reporting, analytics, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate testing for system enhancements and integrations to ensure stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration, processing, and integration issues.
- Oversee interfaces with internal and external systems to maintain data integrity.
- Translate business needs into system requirements, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Develop documentation and deliver user training across supported functional areas.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five or more years of experience providing functional software support.
- Significant experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex system and process issues.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple, concurrent initiatives.
- Capacity to interact professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership and technical teams.
