About the role#
Dream is hiring a Corporate Tax Intern for an 8 month term starting in January 2026. This full time role is based in our Toronto office. You will support the Tax team by handling tax accounting, preparing returns, and managing communication with the CRA.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly tax accounting tasks.
- Prepare various tax returns.
- Communicate with the CRA and other taxation authorities regarding audits, assessments, and administrative matters.
- Work on ad hoc tax projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program focusing on Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, assertive approach to your work.
- Diligence and attention to detail in all deliverables.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- A desire to continuously learn and seek feedback.
- Previous experience in an accounting or taxation role is an asset.
- Familiarity with real estate environments or software like JDE, Enterprise One, or ReportsNow is helpful.
