About the role#
Dream is hiring an Intern for the Corporate Accounting team. This is a full-time, paid position based in Toronto, Ontario. The internship runs for 8 months, starting in January 2027 for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with quarterly financial reporting, including financial statements, MD&A, and investor presentations.
- Lead the month-end closure process.
- Handle transactional processing and daily accounting tasks.
- Help with budgets and financial analysis.
- Support AI and automation initiatives.
- Work on ad hoc projects and process improvements for the accounting team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program focused on Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- A desire to pursue an accounting designation.
- A collaborative mindset and a positive attitude.
- Diligence and attention to detail when preparing deliverables.
- A drive to learn from experiences, seek feedback, and pursue development opportunities.
- Ability to work hard and smart to meet demands during high-pressure periods.
