About the role#
We are looking for a Legal (Corporate) Intern to join our Summer 2027 cohort. This position offers hands-on experience within a global business, allowing you to work on projects that impact our operations and legal compliance. You will work alongside experienced corporate lawyers and gain exposure to the inner workings of an in-house legal department.
What you'll do#
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents like contracts, NDAs, and corporate policies.
- Research regulatory requirements, case law, and legal issues that affect our operations.
- Manage corporate governance documents including board minutes, resolutions, and company filings.
- Assist with due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other transactions.
- Help ensure the company stays in compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Develop training materials on relevant legal topics.
- Participate in internal meetings and discussions with stakeholders.
- Handle special projects as assigned by the legal team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Law degree program (Bachelors, JD, or LLB) or a related field at an accredited university.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational habits and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

- Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan.
- Modality: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).
- Term: 10-week program during Summer 2027.
- Employment type: Full time and paid.
